Welcome, Wayfarer

The old law is carved on every ruin: "No hand shall build where no fire burns."

  1. Gather wood and stone. Chop trees with the Axe (key 2) and mine rocks with the Pickaxe (key 3). Your pack already holds a little of each.
  2. Press V, choose the Altar and place it. That fire is your home base.
  3. Only once your fire burns can you build anything else. Light it first.

Your ultimate goal: kindle the Great Flame. Raise your Altar through five levels, each asking for rarer artifacts than the last, until it blazes over all of Vesperia.
